About Kathy

I've been blessed with a rewarding career that started after college with an entry position as a Junior Cartographer with Donnelley Cartographic Services and progressed to Director of Business Development with MapQuest.com. I loved it, but I've always thought about getting into Real Estate one day. Why? I grew up in a DIY family.  My dad never would think of hiring out a job around the house.  I mean, why hire someone to knock it out an afternoon when you can spend twice as much and get it done in a couple of weeks and 97 trips to Home Depot?  LOL! In all the homes I've owned in my lifetime I have carried on the same tradition -- and have loved all of it (well, most of it...)  I feel like I know homes and can identify "good bones" vs. a money pit.

 

I have a beautiful daughter who is my best friend and I'm an avid animal lover.  I'm currently a puppy raiser for Susquehanna Service Dogs and am enjoying every minute of it.  I will raise a puppy for 18-24 months and then hand him/her off to the skilled SSD trainers that train them to be service dogs to ultimately go on to change someone's life.  An extremely rewarding and suitably humbling experience.

I don't consider myself a "typical" REALTOR®.  I'm not pushy and I understand that the process of buying a home is sometimes a long one. A REALTOR® is a great resource for a buyer/seller to take advantage of throughout the process -- they know the local market and have the tools to help you analyze your best options.
