I was born in Sioux City, Iowa, and raised in Lancaster County since I was a toddler.  Career-wise, this county has always presented opportunities with its unique proximity to major hubs.  I could attend a day meeting in N.Y.C. or D.C. and be home at the end of the day sipping a glass of wine on my deck.  When I started a family, I couldn't think of a better place to raise my daughter.  She navigated the Hempfield school system just as myself, brother, and sister had.  Now that I'm an "empty nester" and starting to plan for retirement (someday...) I realize just how many safe & vibrant options Lancaster County has to offer me which I consider a blessing.

I'm very happy to call Lancaster County "home."
